Hazem Ahmed Abu-Bakr al-Manfi is an experienced Arabic language teacher for non-native speakers with over 15 years of experience. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University and obtained a diploma in teaching Arabic as a foreign language from the same institution.
His professional journey includes working in leading language centers in Egypt. From 2008 to 2012, he taught at the Al-Ibaanah Center, and from 2012 to 2024, he worked at the Furqan Center, later becoming its Principal. Under his leadership, the Furqan Center transitioned to an online format.
The offline Arabic language center for men is located in the heart of the Prophetic Medina.
Lessons are conducted using a unique teaching methodology and an exclusive book under the guidance of its author, Hazem Ahmed Abu-Bakr Al-Manfi

Curriculum
The learning series consists of three stages, structured for gradual language acquisition. Each stage includes materials adapted to the student’s level.
• Beginner Level:
You will learn the Arabic alphabet, letter sounds, and diacriticamarks (harakat). You will distinguish between short and long vowels, connect letters to form words, and read simple sentences. This level also introduces basic grammar rules and writing fundamentals.

• Intermediate Level:
At this level, you will master key topics such as introductions, family, and home. You will learn to talk about yourself, ask questions about age and profession, describe your family, and identify objects around you. Grammar rules are presented in a simple way and are easy to apply in practice.

Upper-Intermediate Level:
This level focuses on more advanced topics, such as Islamic holidays, geography, world countries, education, and work. You will learn to read and understand texts on these subjects and construct more complex sentences.

Consists of three levels: beginner, intermediate, and upper-intermediate.
Stage 1 – Basic Level
1. Reading (4 books):
  • Islam and the Prophet
  • The Righteous Companions and Successors
  • Islamic Sciences
  • Sirah and Muslim History

2. Grammar (Ajurrumiya):
  • Words, speech, grammatical analysis, and changes
  • Nominative case and dependent elements
  • Accusative and genitive cases

3. Morphology:
  • Introduction to morphology, root forms, simple and derived verbs, strong and weak verbs
  • Rhetoric
  • Spelling
Lessons in reading, grammar, morphology, spelling, and rhetoric.
Stage 2 – Advanced level
Focus Areas:
  • Mastering the four language skills: listening, speaking, writing, and reading.
  • Understanding and speaking Classical Arabic for effective communication.
  • Studying Arabic heritage and practicing its styles.
  • Comprehending Friday sermons and scholarly lectures.
  • Writing correctly in Arabic without spelling and stylistic errors.
  • Expressing thoughts clearly and accurately in Classical Arabic.
